Reimbursement of my lenses

By ordering clear or photochromic lenses, you can be reimbursed by Social Security and your mutual insurance company.

Indeed, these Category B lenses entitle you to a reimbursement from the Social Security (of a few cents), according to the following conditions stated by the Official Journal:

"For adults and children aged 16 and over, the renewal of the coverage of an equipment (respectively a frame and two lenses) is possible after a minimum period of two years after the last coverage of an equipment (respectively a frame and two lenses). For children over 6 and under 16 years of age, the renewal of the reimbursement of an equipment (respectively a frame and two lenses) is possible after a minimum period of one year after the last reimbursement of an equipment (respectively a frame and two lenses). The different time limits are understood to be in relation to the date of issue of the last device concerned for the application of the time limit. The different time limits are also applicable for the separate renewal of the equipment components. "

If your order for lenses falls within this framework, then you can also claim reimbursement from your mutual insurance company, according to the terms of the contract between you and it.
